Though it does depend on the book.
totally depends on the book
I am pretty quick, on my days off I can read a book or two in an 8 60 minutes window.
I observe it difficult to concentrate for very long periods of fourth dimension. Also, I like stopping every so often to remember nigh what I just read, the final scene.
I need to *brand* myself exercise that more ofttimes, Ingemar. Thanks for reminding me.
I don't know why, just I timed how long it took me to read one page in a book, and on average information technology's 2 minutes... I'm a relatively slow reader, then this would accept me almost ten hours...
For me information technology would be well-nigh iv.five hours if I wanted to really get through it fast. Non that I'd retrieve much , a calendar week or 2 later but v.five if I wanted to savor it and enjoy it more and at to the lowest degree recall something!
it would take me 2 weeks
2 weeks or more if i don´t take much fourth dimension
I can't read nonstop...but I do read for long periods of fourth dimension...I finished the host reading it for several hours over two days and that is like...yeah.

I can't read non-stop either, simply judging from the stride I read from page to page, it would probably take around ten to 12 hours.
message 12: by Katka (new)
Non voting - information technology depends on the book and the linguistic communication.

I'm 13 so I do read a little slower and information technology really depends on the book but if its a skillful one I'm interested in, 4 hours.

Definitely over 12 hours.... aye I'thousand a slow reader... each hunger games volume took me about 3 days with a total of probably five-vi hours each twenty-four hour period.
over 12 hours .. considering English isn't my native language and and it totally depends on the book and how mush free time i accept and lately i don't have mush .. schoolhouse and work .. then yeah it sucks .
over 12 hours .. because English language isn't my native language and and it totally depends on the volume and how mush free time i take and lately i don't accept mush .. school and work .. so yep information technology sucks .
definitely 3-6 hours. unless the volume doesnt hook me in and I'll simply bring it around and force myself to finish information technology

Despite my vote, I would say that it really depends on what I am reading...
Totally depends on the book, but an average of a folio a minute for me, so 3-six hours.
The times I've done it, 1-three hours. Books that don't pull me in like that would probably take longer.
Most books, probably about vi-7 hours. If information technology's written James Patterson manner, more than similar four.

If it's most a book I really like, and so I want to savor it but I also read it nonstop. I would probably stop it in 8-9 hours.

6 hours or so. Simply it really depends on the book. If the book is not as absorbing my listen may wonder for a scrap even though I oasis't put the book down.
definitely depends on the book.
Only bad affair is that I don't read nonstop:/

Not the quickest. Merely it actually depends on the volume. Some are just easier to read others more interesting than some.

Depends on the book and the language.
message 28: by [deleted user] (new)
If it has great descriptions I may want to read them over and over to savour them and that takes longer.
message 29: by Lowri (new)
I suppose it would take me less time if I didn't get distracted by other tech like my phone ... If I didn't have schoolhouse I would sit outside reading until it was dark ... Then I'd come in and read!
it depends on the book

I totally agree with the others, it depends on the book.

And the linguistic communication. [native or not]
I'one thousand a fast reader so if I read a 300-page volume nonstop, it will probably take me around four hours or so to finish.
I also concur with others that it depends on the books. Some books are easy and low-cal to read; 150-page chick-lits usually take me around 2 hours. Other books require more attending; reading The Hunger Games book took me i whole afternoon, the classics require a whole twenty-four hour period, Dan Chocolate-brown-manner books require more. You go the idea.
Sometimes, if I love the book and then much, I read them slowly to enjoy each scene. The Harry Potter books took me a calendar week or two each. Record goes to the HP and the Order of the Phoenix: I finished it in one calendar month. LOL

It really depends on the book
It actually depends on the book… Some of them we bonfire through because they're and so exciting, some of them we take our time because they are so good.
And of course, setting makes a difference too… When we accept peace and quiet, anything goes.
Smashing Poll!

This totally does depend on the book; if information technology'southward Dickens, it'll accept much longer than a middle class novel.
and if its Shakespeare, your have to go to a dictionary a lot.

It really depends on the book - some authors are easier to read than others....
3-4 hours roughly. I only know this because I utilize to take one of those bookmarks that had a born timer.

Are yous kidding? I started to read the Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare and finished it in the midnight. I'm not crawly, I was merely got insomnia.

That's definitely me. I find myself getting a trivial restless after a short while of reading. I too similar to stop and think well-nigh what I have read.
3-6 hours, like most of the voters ;-)
message 43: past Nadya (new)
it actually depends on the language too. if the volume was written in bahasa indonesia, i need similar 3 hours or eveb less. but for the english one, it takes me longer than that. simply yeah probably iii-6hours. :-)

If I have a book that is over 370 pages long then it would take me that long. But 460 pages would take me atleast 14 hours straight

Hhaha. That's sorta funny.
six-9 hours if I could read non cease but then once more, unless I decide non to sleep, it is very hard to read non cease and not be disturbed.
An average book of 300 pages takes me 1-2 days because unfortunately, I seldom tin read not stop :-(

If it was Zero but reading, I would gauge near three hours. All the same, every half hour to hour I need to accept a break from the book or else I'll just get antsy and become all too aware of other things I demand to be doing. Also, the type of book may change my answer.
I read slower than average audio volume readers read out loud.
